L.A.M.A. Field Rules

Like any club LAMA does have a few rules. The rules are designed to keep everyone

safe, not harass the neighbors, and to assure AMA compliance.

We all know how fun our hobby is. But if you have never had mechanical problem or a crash, you

will eventually. For this reason all flight is to be north of the runway. We ask all pilots to call out

when taking off, landing, walking on to the runway, etc.. LAMA is a very 3D friendly field, however all flight must be north of the run way no exceptions.

With our fairly close proximity to residences we do have a sound procedure. This should not scare

anyone away from enjoying LAMA. Most if not all motors with an appropriate muffler and when

properly propped will not have a problem flying at LAMA.
